North Idaho College Prioritizes a Positive Student Experience Through Student Financial Success with CampusLogic

April 4, 2022, Phoenix, Ariz. — CampusLogic, higher education’s leading Student Financial Success platform, announces a new partnership with North Idaho College (NIC). Utilizing ScholarshipUniverse and StudentForms, NIC’s committed staff will be equipped with student-centric technology solutions that streamline the financial aid journey for every student. These invaluable resources include a simplified financial aid verification platform and advanced scholarship management and matching tools.

For North Idaho College, improving access for students is paramount. With more than 100 degree and certificate programs offered, the community college has intentionally focused on the student experience and Student Financial Succes. The financial aid team at NIC wanted a smarter, streamlined partner in their goal to help every student enroll, persist and thrive. StudentForms, CampusLogic’s flagship platform, transforms manual financial aid processes from time-consuming slogs into easy-to-navigate digital workflows. Beyond being a thoughtful tool for staff, StudentForms guides students seamlessly through complex financial aid processes.

“StudentForms will help our students complete their financial aid forms quickly and with ease,” said Ken Wardinsky, NIC’s Chief Information Officer. “When there are hiccups in the financial aid process, students think they didn’t do something right. My hope is that, with this system, students will feel confident in the financial aid process, and we’ll get more students through without friction.”

The NIC team was also impressed with CampusLogic’s award-winning scholarship management and utilization platform, ScholarshipUniverse. With a foundation that raises more than $1 million in scholarship funding annually, NIC was looking to bolster its external scholarship database, too.

“The key elements we were looking for were better integration to speed up the time of awarding for students,” Wardinsky said. “We needed a digital-first experience, and we wanted to meet students where they are and improve the process of the scholarship application itself.”

ScholarshipUniverse verifies, vets and matches students with relevant internal and external scholarship opportunities, all while enabling a streamlined management, review and awarding practice for staff. The platform, along with StudentForms, will help NIC students easily navigate the financial aid journey and onto the path toward degree completion.

“This is why we’re here,” said Maureen Dolan, NIC’s Community Relations Coordinator. “We’re here for students and the community. And we’re here for anyone who wants to learn something. That’s why we exist. No matter how challenging things may get, when you keep a focus on the student, you know you’re making a difference in someone’s life.”
