Azusa Pacific University Rolls out Mobile-Friendly Technology to Simplify Student Financial Services for Students and Families

AZUSA, CA, January 16, 2018—Azusa Pacific University today announced a partnership with CampusLogic, the leading student financial services platform, to make it easier for students and families to complete the financial aid process. CampusLogic’s mobile-friendly StudentForms product will help APU’s financial aid office automate critical aid forms, communicate with students via text and email, and provide compliant student and parent e-signatures ensuring students receive the aid they need.

Today, 95 percent of APU students receive some form of financial aid. The new technology will enable families to complete forms on time, and communicate special circumstances that affect their ability to pay. Students will also be able to access forms and support 24/7, reflecting the university’s commitment to student service.

“We are always looking for ways to set students up for success, and often find navigating financial aid can be challenging—particularly for the many first-generation students that we serve. CampusLogic can help us remove that burden,” said Stephen Fahey, Director of Undergraduate Financial Aid at Azusa Pacific University. “This new initiative is about streamlining the process for families, and freeing up our team to counsel students more often.”

CampusLogic works with more than 450 colleges and universities nationwide to increase access to higher education, reduce borrowing, and drive down the cost of financial aid administration. Its unique student financial services platform supports students and families from college search to graduation, enabling them to understand the true cost of college early in the enrollment process, complete critical financial aid forms, and access easy-to-understand, digital award letters.

“APU has developed a unique, ‘one-stop’ model that combines counseling, registrar, and student accounts into one organization,” said Gregg Scoresby, Founder and CEO of CampusLogic. “It’s a forward-thinking approach to improving college access and affordability. We look forward to working with their team as they continue to create an engaging and supportive student financial services experience.”
