Starting in the ninth grade, high school counselors seek to empower and impact students’ college aspirations. They ultimately influence whether students complete the FAFSA, how much students know about college and can even help determine whether students graduate from high school and proceed to attend a college or university. In a recent survey, more than 90% of high school counselors said they wanted to receive information from colleges and universities designed specifically for the counseling staff. Discover innovative ways NYU engages with high school counselors all over the country by sharing application insights, useful resources, and how younger students can engage with NYU.
