Presidents Series: Dr. Eric Darr, President, Harrisburg University of Science and Technology
Dr. Eric Darr followed a non-traditional career path toward becoming the president of Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. Under his leadership, HU's model is now optimized to help at-risk student populations enroll and graduate with high-demand STEM degrees. In this session, Darr talks with CampusLogic's VP of Research, Carlo Salerno, about how the institution has been able to achieve tremendous results as well as expanded its footprint nationally in less than a decade. From helping low-income students find affordable ways to get valuable degrees and career starts to bringing the options and opportunities to the students rather than the other way around, this session explores the ways that universities can sustainably serve students groups that policymakers continue to struggle to find ways to help at scale.
